Elorian releases Glimpse, a model that crops and zooms into images while it reasons

TechCrunch reports Elorian's first model launches as a research preview with API access, at $0.60 per 1M tokens in and $3 out. Elorian says it beats GPT-6 Astra on scientific chart reasoning and short video captioning.

Why it matters: Visual reasoning that rechecks the source could help teams with lots of video, like robotics firms and labs. The benchmark claims come from Elorian's own evaluations.
