OpenAI's docs list six reasoning levels and cached input at 5% of the normal rate; OpenRouter shows a 1050000-token context. Simon Willison says it's almost half the price of GPT-6.1 Sol.
Why it matters: A midrange model pitched at computer use and writing gives teams a cheaper option for repetitive automated work before reaching for Sol.
