America's AI Action Plan

The administration's AI strategy, required by EO 14179. It lists over 90 federal policy actions in three pillars: accelerating innovation (removing regulation), building AI infrastructure (data centers, energy, chips) and leading in international diplomacy and security (AI exports). It was released with three executive orders on bias in procured models, data center permits and exports.

What this means for you

  • The plan itself sets no compliance duties; watch for the agency rules and procurement terms that carry it out.
