Executive Order 14179 (Removing Barriers to American AI Leadership)
Sets the policy 'to sustain and enhance America's global AI dominance', orders a review of everything done under the revoked EO 14110 so agencies can suspend, revise or rescind it, and required an AI Action Plan within 180 days. Later orders, including EO 14365, build on it.

- The order itself places no new duties on companies.

- Expect federal agencies to adopt AI faster and buy more of it, under OMB memos issued to carry this order out.
If you use AI
- This order does not create rights for individuals; it changes how the federal government approaches AI.
