Illinois HB 3773 (AI in employment, Human Rights Act)

Amends the Illinois Human Rights Act: an employer's use of AI that has the effect of discriminating against employees on protected grounds, or that uses ZIP codes as a proxy for them, in recruiting, hiring, promotion, discipline, discharge and other job decisions is a civil rights violation. Employers must also notify employees when they use AI for these decisions.
