OMB M-25-22: Federal acquisition of AI

Sets rules for how federal agencies buy AI: support a competitive American AI marketplace, avoid vendor lock-in, protect government data and IP rights, and include contract terms for ongoing testing and performance monitoring. It applies to contracts from solicitations issued 180 days or more after the memo, and does not cover national security systems.
