SpaceXSI bundles X Premium, Grok and Cursor into one subscription

TechCrunch says The X Subscription has five plans: free, Plus ($8/month), Premium ($30/month), Super ($100/month) and Ultra ($200/month), with higher AI caps per tier. It includes Grok's agent Bot and Cursor for coding.

Why it matters: Coding agents are now sold inside consumer bundles. Premium or higher is needed for the latest Grok models, and the upgrade is rolling out gradually, TechCrunch says.

Common Sense Media calls ChatGPT for Teens an 'unacceptable risk'

The Verge reports the nonprofit's assessment found ChatGPT for Teens doesn't send parent alerts when it should and still does homework. OpenAI says much of the testing may predate parental controls activating.

Why it matters: Anyone building AI for minors faces the same test: do safety alerts actually fire? Common Sense says it stands by its results and that some long-linked accounts got no alerts.

Wired tests OpenAI's Dots agent and finds it rough but useful

Wired's reviewer says Dots, behind a $100-a-month plan, built solid couch shortlists but misheard speech, failed a captcha it asked permission to solve, and once replied that it loved them too.

Why it matters: OpenAI told Wired assistants should not initiate undue emotional familiarity. TechCrunch says Dots product lead Alexander Embiricos speaks at Disrupt, Oct. 13-15.
