Preprint: agents' private-data leakage rates ran from 32.5% to 94.4% in tests
Researchers ran 12 agents on 936 tasks across email, documents and other apps. Single-run leakage ranged from 32.5% to 94.4%, and repeating each task five times raised it by 4 to 19 points. Calendar was the leakiest source.
Why it matters: Strong task completion did not guarantee privacy, the authors find. Personal preferences leaked at 84.7% on average, versus 17.1% for credit-card data.
